HELP FOR MOM
Our Story: Help for Mom was one of the first FREE ElderCare Navigators in Ontario/Canada. Formerly Solva Senior Living, It was created through years of observing families spending countless stressful and confusing hours trying to understand and navigate the local senior living offerings.
With 20 years of Senior Living experience, Solva offered families an independent expert who could offer guidance, referrals, resources and direction to local ElderCare and Retirement Communities. At the time we did not feel comfortable charging clients for this service but developed a network of retirement communities who could cover the search. Thus, we created a free service to help.
Since then, we teamed up with other Canadian experts in the senior living sector to offer a complete service nation-wide. Therefore the name change to Help for Mom (HFM). HFM partners are some of the leading experts in the Canadian Senior Living sector. Our partners are called upon as consultants for colleges, boards and advice to owners, operators and investors of the senior living sector. With that said, our team and company is guided by our strong values, ethics and integrity. We have never waivered at our integrity and will always put our clients and their family needs first and foremost.
Although this is an emerging new type of service, our difference has and always will be that there is no agenda, commissioned employees or sales targets. Simply put, it is assisting families save time and find the right options that is our service and we are blessed to be able to help Canadian’s daily find the right options for mom or dad.
